Hi,
I need a faster computer. My old computer has worked fine until I started back testing in ProRealTime. So the only thing I need to have in mind when I buy / build new computer is right performance for backtesting.
When I read on Internet it seems that SSD and much RAM always is positive. But what about the CPU? Some back testing program seems to use some expensive CPUs badly.
How are ProRealTime’s utilization of the CPU? Does the program use only one core? I don’t want to spend big money on a CPU if it still never fully utilized.
