The “Golden cross” is the name that investors gave to the simple crossover of the moving average 50 periods over or under the long term 200 periods one on a daily basis.
This is a well known screener and I realize that it was not part of the library until then. So here it is!
If you invest long term, you should not be too worried about short term fluctuations in prices. You would be looking for longer term sentiment, or momentum and the golden cross can give a good start for sorting the stocks to look at for long term investing.
