I think this thread for offering suggestions is great idea, but how many are actually ever implemented?
I ask because when IG were developing their own platform (which IMO is a mess compared to their old platform),
because of the good relationship I had (have) with them, they agreed to let me beta test it while they were still developing it.
I provided many suggestions (from a user’s perspective), some referring to glaring omissions and design/usability issues.
It was clear the IT department thought it was impertinant of me to ‘interfere’ in their project, and none were implemented, and nothing rectified.
The resultant platform is like a amateur DIY project gone wrong, though I’m sure there are some who continue to use it.
When it went live I went straight onto MT4 and never looked back (though MT4 only trades Forex, some indices and some metals, but not stocks).
I’m dipping my toe in the water with PRT but am quite impressed with it, and their support is very helpful.
Within a day of testing it I came across several (IMHO) omissions that concerned me.
So back to my question:-are suggestions (not all, obviously) actually implemented, and what percentage – a few/quite a few/a lot/ most of them?
I ask because I don’t want to bother if most aren’t ever actioned.
