    I take it you mean Real Live (not Demo Live) and you mean any TF (not just Daily)?

    Also how can folk answer / tell you their Strategy if they are keeping the Strategy to themselves?

    I’m having a break for the summer … Sell in May and Go Away, come back on St Swithuns Day! 🙂

    Also, if u dont mind me adding a couple of cents here. Sharing is caring and all that, but honestly, dont run shit from the forum! U dont know if its been overfit and optimized on 100% etc..

    If u have made it urself and ran ur algo in demo and seen profits then run it live, ur probably not gonna freak out when it looses 4 times in a row, cus u know that might happen. But if u run someone elses stuff, u just never know how its gonna perform.

     

    If u dont know where to start, just add a couple of moving averages and start with “buy when crossover” and just take it from there. Read bout indicators, how and what they do. Look up youtube videoes of other peoples ideas if ur feeling un-inspired. Or just take a look at what people have done in this forum at library.

    Dont expect people to just give u their best code cus u asked nicely 😉 And dont expect that to be working lol. Make ur own systems and become profitable! Thats the only way in the long run anyways.

    I now have 8 strategies going live. Not gonna share any of em, but i dont mind talking about how they work and why they work (at least have worked up until now)

    I think Glen / OP was not fishing for a free easy System, I think he was just trying to start a lively discussion, so I’ll try and further that idea! 🙂

    I’m not pointing a finger honest, but let’s ask ourselves why do we not want to share what we consider a good Strategy??

    I can only think of two reasons, well 3 already! 🙂 …

    1. I think the Strategy effectiveness will be eroded by loads of others using the same Strategy?
    2. I spent **** hours on this I sure as hell aint gonna share it!
    3. I want to run it myself on Real Live until I am happy I see consistent profits then I will share.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              My reason is No 3.                                                                                                          Where’s that voting function, would be a good way to run this??PS I always have trouble ending / getting out of numbered lists and starting text full left justified again … what do I need to do?? 🙂

    Hi Guys,

    I have not read all the comments, I have two pretty good profittable strategies, however, I believe like anyone would be on the lookout for new ideas and variations on what I already do. I hope that helps.

    @Glen Marquis so do any of the 3 reasons numbered 1, 2 or 3 (I posted here https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/a-challenge/#post-70595) apply to why you are not sharing your two pretty good profittable strategies  with us please?

    Just interested, I’m not pointing fingers etc.

    Not wanting to be rude but if you ask a question is it not a little odd to not read all the answers?

    Personally I do not share my codes for none of GraHals reasons. I don’t share them because:

    1. All my codes are in my mind still under test.
    2. If I shared an unproven code and then in a years time someone told me that they had lost all their money on it and blamed me for sharing an unproven code then how would I feel?

     

    As for ‘You show me yours and I’ll show you mine’ – that normally only leads to disappointment for at least one party involved. 🙂

    There are no function profitable strategies here, not realtime strategies.
    I would share what I do, daily, when recieving in return. That said there’re clear risks to that.
