Adding sound alert to Indicator

  Hi,

  I have created a simple indicator based on price and MA’s that runs live on the chart. Once the condition is met an arrow is drawn either up or down. I would like to attach a sound alert when the condition is met. I have searched through the programming manuals and listed library indicators and cannot find any code to insert. I know that the “Bell Icon” can be used to attach to indicators but in this case I would like the alert set in the indicator code. I’ve tried to use the Bell Icon to link to my indicator just in case this is the only solution however I couldn’t get it to work.

  Sounbd alerts can only be set from within the built-in platform tools, there’s no code support for them.

  Screener can sound when a new instrument is found, Indicators can only plot something (an arrow, or text) but not deal with sounds.
