Hello Guys,
Is it possible in the PRT code to access or use the triggered alerts from the charts in the PRT code , such as buy or sell signals / take profit according to the validation of the condition on the chart such as crossing under/ over specified selected line drawn on the chart or indicator window, please advise.
If also I have alert condition with signal to buy or sell enabled , the instruction says it will keep buying and selling up to the end of the day, on the PRT server.
but I am not sure if it will create multiple buy / sell position every time the condition met, or it will not open a new position until the opened one closed.
Thanks .
if I use the enabled triggered alert to buy or sell signal ,
I am not sure how to close the opened position with this trigger , and is the triggered alert will buy or sell everytime the alert triggered before it closes the already opened position with previous triggered alerts , as I could not find any help regarding this issue.
Can use the triggered alerts in the prorealtime programming code to enable buy / sell and limit or stop loss ?
Thanks for your patient to reach the end of my email, and appreciate if you can answer all my clarfications!!Thanks
05/09/2016 at 8:45 AM #6597Hello,
It is possible to trigger trades with cross over prices and/or indicators drawn on chart by code. You can also limit the quantity of trades for a specific condition trigger by code.
For trades launched by alerts, they will occur each time an alert is detected (a crossover for example).
Do you want to automate a specific strategy?

Thanks for your valuable info , I am still new to the trading , I read about a lot of strategies , but I am not sure which one is the most suitable for me, for example I read more about moving average crossing , but I don’t know what other signals should I use as a confirmation with the MA crossing and what is the best timeframe to use as well, I like trading on the crude oil but the daily movement of the price is scary , so I am not sure what is the best strategy and optimum indicators that suits for , if you can help, thanks.

05/10/2016 at 4:57 PM #6703Well, what a question! There are a billion ways to make money on market. What I can tell you if that you have to find the right and suitable path for you to do it. In a first place, I believe everything rely on your risk aversion and why do you want to trade? gambling, retirement, living, bonus income, whatever! 🙂
05/10/2016 at 6:37 PM #6714In the mean time I am looking for a bonus income , afterwards, I would use it as a living income, may be after 4 0r 5 years ,
I know it is not easy to fully understand and master trading, so I want to start with a small amount around 2000 or 3000 dollars,
I need to learn how to manage the risk first , such as stops / limits or exit before to start trading , then later on to know when to enter trade and when to stop trading ,
I need to know more and more about it.
on the internet there is a lot of info, but I need little guidance so I could find the right way, Thanks.
would you able to help me?
Regards
05/10/2016 at 8:00 PM #6718I’m sorry dxb, my goal is not to teach personally each person of the forum to live from trading. Maybe in a near future, I’ll share some manual trading systems and give some advices, but right now I got not enough time I’m sorry.
