Am I missing a trick (again! :))? Just sent below to IG
Something that annoys me … if I want to change the name of an Algo that I have already backtested and got an equity curve (see below) then I have to re-run the backtest again to get the equity curve to appear again with the new name.
If after changing the name I ‘save changes’ then the renamed Algo shows in the list along with my other Algos but I still would need to backtest it again to get it to show the equity curve … all I wanted was a name change.
To achieve a change of Algo name only … the above is using / wasting PRT Server time / power and also frustrating / wasting user time.
Unless I am missing a trick here then please put my suggestion forward to PRT.
