Hello eweryone! Hello Khaled!!
Is it possible to build a algo from Khaled´s suppy & Demand indicator when the price returns to a supply/demand zone?I’ve asked on that thread but haven’t gotten an answer
Here is the link to Khaled´s indicatorSupply & Demand – Order Blocks – Indicators – ProRealTime (prorealcode.com)
05/07/2023 at 9:22 AM #214249As an example … change Line 133 for below, then do same for Bullish bozes.
However, it works better if you use ‘Buy’ on the Bearish boxes below.
12SellShort at Market//drawrectangle($left[j],$top[j],barindex,$bottom[j]) coloured("red",Transparency)bordercolor("red",Transparency)I’m sure there’s more to do to get it profitable, but above should help to get you started?
05/07/2023 at 12:22 PM #214262Thanks for reply Grahal. But then it takes position when a zone is formed. What I meant is that I want it to take a position when the price retests the zone. I know the indicator is not intended for that. But I think it looks interesting and I want to develop it further later.

Maybe JS or Roberto might help you?
To make it easier for anybody coding it for you, are you able to define … retests the zone? I’ll have a think also with respect to the Indicator, linked in your OP.
Above saves a coders time having to define retests the zone, it also gets you what you want?
05/07/2023 at 1:03 PM #214265What I mean by retest is that when the indicator makes a zone and the price leaves that zone and comes back to it (maybe tomorrow), the algo should take a position. The picture I sent shows an example. The problem for me is being able to use the zones in the future. So if a buy zone is formed today, I want algo to take a position tomorrow or next day if the price comes back to the zone.
Hope someone understands what I mean 😉05/07/2023 at 1:11 PM #214266I understand exactly what you mean in plain english, but to code it needs limits / quantified values.
So if price just pops into the light green zone (not the dark green zone) on a 1 min Timeframe (after being in the dark green zone previously) then is that a retest of the zone in your mind?
You likely be happy (as I would 😉 ) if somebody would code you a ‘restest of the zone’ as they see fit. We can develop it further after that (maybe? 🙂 ).
