Hi, this is a forum dedicated to the prorealtime trading platform programming. Anyway, I’m wondering who is still programming in Pascal nowadays and for finance? Could you enlighten us about it?, I’m curious!
Back in the 80’s I was writing programs to be used by city traders and I saved them on big floppy discs that actually were floppy! I can’t get them to work now – can anyone help?
I can help help convert your program to prorealtime. You can share your files here, I’ll have a look between Xmas 🎄 and New Year! But sorry I can’t help fixing Pascal codes! 😆
What about my floppy floppy discs Nicolas? At the moment I am using them as dinner place mats. You are just so helpful that I am sure you will have some great ideas of how I can bring them back into good use? 🙂
Fantastic. Thank you for introducing me to a whole new genre of music.
There is even one of my all time favourite classical pieces Pachelbel’s canon.
There is another six minutes of my life I’ll never get back!
Although actually the discs I used were much much bigger and actually floppy. Many an hour was spent reading a book waiting for something to compile and save – so maybe six minutes is nothing compared to back in the day.
