Thinking about it … this has to be one of the easiest problems to fix surely?
The figure showing in the list of Systems ( – £1295.20 in above example) must be derived from data shown on the Detailed Report? EXCEPT clearly there is no periodic flush through / comparison being made?
I’m not good at coding but even I could write a comparison … (I know a server script will not be same code as the Platform btw 🙂 )
123If (Nbr Trades x Avg Gain) <> (Total Gain) on Multi-System screen ThenEnter (Nbr Trades x Avg Gain) on Multi-System screenEndifAbove / similar could / should be run as a error flush every 24 hours or at least when a client flags up anomalies (as I am doing daily! )?
PRT Support any comment please?
PRT Support … please click thank you so I – at least – know you have read this??

10/23/2018 at 4:26 PM #83401I guess in all fairness there’s a bit more to it than that but yeh totally get your point… so you’re saying even after closing and opening it’s still showing incorrectly? Seems like your’e getting a lot of issues and that one showing negative before it’s even started is very odd but would say on the whole out of 40 currently running strategies I have going they all ‘look’ to be ok – obviously I am glancing down the list and going in for a closer look on some but not all as I would imagine others would be doing it this way as the strategies gradually clock up trades over the days/weeks (if they can get that far without bombing out that is of course!) and is near on impossible to closely monitor each one trade by trade (if for example as per my video previous trades were ‘disappearing’)
10/23/2018 at 8:49 PM #83414so you’re saying even after closing and opening it’s still showing incorrectly?
Yes
they all ‘look’ to be ok
Mine did also … until I started looking closer!
I can’t believe I am the only one with this Issue?
11/13/2018 at 10:02 AM #84746Is nobody else getting this Issue please?
Or maybe you just have not checked?
I have unearthed > 10 examples as I am going through all the Systems sitting in my Auto-Trading window and backtesting and then transferring to my PC so I have only 25 Systems showing in my Auto-Trading window.
Anyway attached is probably the most recent example … System was started on 21 Oct 18 so 3 weeks ago yesterday and already a £200 discrepancy showing between Total Gain (on List window) = + / PLUS £140.40 while the true figure shows as Gain (on System Stats window) = – / MINUS £342.40 in the Performance Stats window for the System.
Where is the erroneous data being pulled from? Any ideas anybody please??
Thank You
Grahal
PS The last response I had back from PRT after submission of my Technical Report was 15 Oct 18.11/13/2018 at 3:25 PM #8476311/20/2018 at 3:43 PM #85335Maybe this is a / the source of the erroneous data or at least sharing the same erroneous source as is the cause of anomalies that I highlight in above posts ?
All 5 trades are showing the same value in the vertical columns and yet the Total for these vertical columns shown in the Row at the top is different … can’t be correct??
If you see it different let me know??
Gain Today
Latent GainPS / EDIT
The Totals of the columns do not always differ by the +- < 2 either … see the 2nd attachment below.
(2nd screen shot taken 2 mins after the 1st screen shot).
I do understand that if the trades had not been opened today / were running yesterday then the Latent Gain would (correctly) be different than Gain Today.
In the example I have chosen clearly all trades were open to day as the vertical columns show the same value.
11/20/2018 at 4:27 PM #85341The Totals of the columns do not always differ by the +- < 2 either … see the 2nd attachment below.
Re + – 2 etc … forget I said it as both columns had increased by 58.
But the rest of what I said is correct / good!
Not that anybody is reading this anyway! 🙂

I am!
I just spotted my first anomaly in one of my demo accounts this morning.

11/23/2018 at 10:13 AM #85558Yeah I knew it had to be more than just me, but others are not checking.
For me, it is making that AutoTrading list of running Systems so effing useless … there is so much wrong with that screen!
I beg PLEASE PRT that it be completely revamped under version 11 … any knowledge on this @Nicolas re the AutoTrading List of Forward Test Systems … have all (some, even??) of that screen’s failings been sorted under Version 11??
11/23/2018 at 10:27 AM #8556101/25/2019 at 11:58 AM #89636Don’t cha wish your System was hot like mine!
Don’t cha wish your System was a freak like mine? 🙂 🙂
How can the result be a gain of $53, 800 with a Lot size of 2 in the 1 bar scenario as attached!!??
Makes the 2 months of Forward Testing History a waste of time now?
Or I have to keep subtracting $53.8K and doubting / double checking other trades also!??
02/21/2019 at 8:32 PM #91977I know Demo Issues get very low priority attention, but this Issue has been going on for over 4 months with no update since 15 Oct 19 when IG stated …
I have raised your issue directly to ProRealTime under the reference 9490 and will keep you updated with their investigation.
Anyway I am fed up seeing the two Systems attached (both showing the Issue! ) in my non running area so I’m going to delete them. You watch … PRT will come back tomorrow now and say …
“we can’t investigate your Issue because the Systems you referred to in your Technical Report are not available in your Account”.
I’d be ecstatic if I / we got some comment / feedback from a PRT Rep monitoring this Forum … @Jakub @Carine @Ulrike … how about it PLEASE ??
Thank You
GraHal03/15/2019 at 12:16 PM #93780Yyyyyeeeesssss … over £19,000 in 4 seconds … who said I couldn’t code (me!) 🙂 🙂
Oh no it’s not … it’s the PRT Hoax again!!!!
So that’s another System Forward Test Performance History ruined!
And I have to remember to subtract £19k off the overall gain for the whole Account every time I am trying to assess overall Peformance!
Roll on Version 11!
Only worry is that …if the reason for the anomaly is not corrected in Version 10 then the problem may roll over into Version 11 !?
