Backtest NOT ‘Tick by Tick Mode’ even if Box is Ticked!

So did we all know this?? In optimization mode, the backtest does not use the tick-by-tick mode, even if the box is checked. You must define your variables directly in the code and delete those present in the optimization window. Above is a statement from Nicolas on a French Forum. See attached for an example screenshot to illustrate above. So … When we click a line in optimisation results, the results we see ARE under ‘Tick by Tick’ conditions. If we then enter those same values (from ‘Tick by Tick Mode’ at 1. above) into the optimiser (fixed value field) the results we see ARE NOT under ‘Tick by Tick’ conditions.

Hi prorealtime team,

can somebody give an update on this in fact not satisfying issue?
What is the current status and what and when will be the solution.
Paying for tick by tick data which are not properly processed from the system is not a good situation!
