Get a pot of Earl Grey brewing and chill out! 🙂
For information … it was this Forum that my post ‘never got posted’ on also.
I used to get the page suddenly jumping down to the bottom of the page but haven’t had that for so long I’d forgotten, I always thought it was something weird I was doing?

03/11/2017 at 11:43 AM #28260I’m feeling concerned by this problem, since you could be not the only one facing it.
I can’t reproduce it myself, maybe you could help? Please use Firefox with the firebug plugin, open firebug console and try to load the forum page, browse the website and also try to post a new thread. Report me any errors reported by firebug. Thank you!
I prefer Champagne than Earl grey tea, frankly speaking. Must be because I am from the other side of the Channel 😉
03/11/2017 at 1:55 PM #28265if that’s one cup per bug…

not sure what state Nicolas would be in translating this into one glass of champaign per bug…
03/11/2017 at 3:09 PM #2826803/11/2017 at 3:41 PM #28269I think my Champagne days (mornings) are long gone…
Had an idea and tried using my iphone but it’s still not posting. It’s not the editor: I tried it on “visual” and “text” modes.
I suspect it maybe incompatibility with Apple? Or a blog plugin update as last year when I first joined in the Spring I could post (albeit with jumping page downs etc) and I have no problem commenting (apart from the jumping down the page bug) in the Library section of this site, just the Forum.
Here’s Firebug:

When I went back to my other desktop where Firefox is located (I have 4 desktops) I see that the submit button did work fine the first time I hit it, and the page did reload back to the home page for proorder support again (there must have been about a 5 second page load delay — I have noticed the prorealcode site page load times are a bit sluggish most of the time I use it, however it did not post William Tell Bonds/Limit Order and I see this in Firebug:

I wonder, GraHal are you also using an Apple Mac?
03/11/2017 at 3:52 PM #28270Well, I do not see any specific bugs that could make the new topic not to work properly.
Test on your iPhone was made on WiFi connection or not? Since you have the same problem with different devices, it must be linked to your account or your connection. Can you test with a telephone network instead?

You reminded me though … when I got the ‘page jumping down’ issue it was on the Library Forum and I’ve not had it for ages probably cos I’ve not posted in the Library for ages.
Cheers
GraHal03/11/2017 at 7:38 PM #2828703/11/2017 at 9:19 PM #28294I’m sorry for the name confusion Nicolas. My name is Ian, my friends call me Bard (nickname as I was a musician) and I signed up in haste and spelt it as Brad instead of Bard. But I realise by this stage my name is probably that bl**dy Englishman with his software issues.. lol.

https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/test-post/
All I did was write “Test Post” in the subject then posted the exact same words/topic (with no images) and it posted.
Maybe the url needs changing to Limit Order Programming help.. or something?Maybe the problem was the subject line and the ProRealCode blog somehow got confused and would not allow the url (or slug as it’s known which is derived from the subject line) to be resubmitted after it failed to post the first time for what ever reason?
Finally enjoying my cup of Earl Grey this morning.
