IG is not a platform for professional traders. But they are fine for learners/intermediate…if you don’t make too many requests, that is. Don’t take it personally – they might not care about you, but they don’t care about anyone. You can still use PRT with other data providers.
A tip for the future: make your supports requests as brief and concise as possible. Keep in mind they have limited concentration (and care factor) and will attend to the most simple requests first.
11/03/2018 at 1:13 PM #84088Hello PRT team,
I’d like to request portfolio trading capability for ProOrder, ie.the ability to apply a single algo across an entire stock exchange or multiple exchanges.
Is it on the to do list now or likely to be? ETA?
thanks.

if there is any chance, i would like to have a possibility of drawing routes into the charts. in know it might not be a “professional” thing, but I like to draw potential future chart developments.. currently i bypass by drawing segments attached to each other…
thanks
all the best

You can draw manually Trend Lines in 3 seconds, but I guess you know that?
Or are wanting to code in potential future chart developments to your strategy?
01/03/2019 at 8:30 PM #87971If a trading strategy is based on a multi-trading system running in parallel (for example the same strategy applied simultaneously to different instruments) no monitoring and/or controlling functions of a multi-trading sysyem are available. I suggest to add at least the following:
1. a function that closes all the running trading systems, something like “QUIT ALL TRADING SYSTEMS”.
2. a function that can provide the information of the sum of the profit generated by each single running trading sysyem.
Thanks

Then you should ask them how. They have API, did you know?

The current figure for Average Gain per Trade is shown on the Performance Tab, but it would be sooo useful to see how this Average Gain has been changing through the BackTest or Forward Test period.
