GraHal – Thanks for taking time to do this. When you are drawing channels in 1D chart, option selected is “show in inferior timeframes” correct?
In my case I have both the 1-D and 4-H charts open simultaneously, but I don’t think that should make any difference? So, then the question is why this is happening with my charts only?!
If I could please ask – can you please try a channel that will use say very latest (and small number of candles) on daily chart – the reason I am asking this is, usually channels that comprise of small number of daily channels would be the ones with more difference in slope (if drawn in daily chart vs inferior time-frame, using same high/lows).
Thanks for your help already!

Yes … I always have the above enabled by default for my trend lines etc.
Re 2 charts open (Daily and 4 hour) … what settings have you got re attached?

As you suggested, I contacted PRT support and they asked me to create a technical report. Problem is I already did one and did not get any resolution till date. And when you create a technical report, you don’t get a ticket number, you just have to wait for them to reach at you and then nothing happens. It is very frustrating.

Mine is also on PC and windows 10. Scale is linear also.
I also tried to change the 1-D chart to 4H chart (instead of separate charts open simultaneuosly) to see if that displays correctly there (essentially that is what you are doing correct?). But even that doesn’t work in my case. I don’t know what remains to be checked! The issue is still happening.
I will try in DJI tomorrow and update.

I had 2 charts open … 1 on Daily and 1 on 4 hour TF.
I drew the channel on Daily then duplicated the Chart then changed to 4 hour TF.
04/18/2021 at 7:07 PM #167457So, tried in DJI and there is no issue. See attached charts. Channels not shifting.
So, issue only happening in DAX. I also tried to duplicate the D-chart in DAX and changed timescale to 4h, and the channel shifting issue is happening in both my original 4h chart and also in the new duplicated 4h chart. Seems like this problem is specific to DAX then? Will you please try couple of channels in DAX and see if you run into this issue as well? Thank you.

One more observation –
I have attached an example snapshot with the latest channel that is shifting (and this is happening to multiple channels). One more thing I realized while doing this exercise again is this –
Step 1: After my recent login I had as usual updated all the channels from 1D chart by changing the chart setting to “object timeframe only” and then back to “platform option settings” which first deleted and then redrew the channel in lower timeframes. This is shown in the attached Channel_1 snapshot showing the channel in 4H timeframe. I have purposely made this channel bold so you can easily see which channel I am referring to.
Step 2: Then, without logging out I repeated the above exercise but this time selecting the same channel from 4h chart instead. Then the channel shifted to a new position which I am showing in the attached channel_2 snapshot. (This is an extra step I did for this exercise only, usually I would just logout at the end of the session without changing the channel after step 1)Step 3. After this, I logged out and logged back in and the channel remained in this shifted position (i.e. in the same position shown in channel_2 snapshot).
Based on the above, do you see where the potential problem is and how to correct it? How can I have the channel in position shown in channel_1 snapshot after I log back every time? Why is it shifting automatically to the position shown in channel_2 snapshot between logout and login?
As you can imagine, trying to correct all channels at every login is very cumbersome. And I would really appreciate some pointers.
Thanks!
