    Hi all,

not sure where to find or where to ask:  I want to copy a PRT graph, and a backtest result , so I can attach it to the forum.  How do I do this ?  Is there a button somewhere to copy and save as JPEG ??

    Thanks in advance

    I created a new topic.

You need to create a screenshot (JPG or PNG) with your Operating System or any software.

You can use the SHARE option of the chart to save a CHART (not the backtest data).

Forgot about the question, I found the botton, below on the left of the graph, on the button “Share”, you can select to save a graph.

And a backtesting results you can print, right on the top in the result box is a print-button, you can choose to print it to pdf and then save it for all tabs or just one tab.

Still remains with the question :  how can I copy the backtest result into the Forum ?

I am missing a possibility for copying the backtest results, like you can do for charts, for at least the 3 first tabs .  Is this available ? Or on the PRT developing wishlist ?

Currently you can print the backtest, and while doing so, selecting printing it inPDF form, but that you can not attach in the forum, as it  requires JPEG format.

You need free software utilities to save screenshots. I personally use Screenshot Captor or Gadwin PrintScreen.

You can easily find them over the internet. They both offer basic tools (enough for this job) for free unlimited time.

I personally use LightShot which is free but even Windows10 has a thing called Snipping Tool built in that you could use.

I use Snagit … couldn’t live without it!

    Hallo,

Obviously we could use the good program SnagIt, or a very basic program Paint of Microsoft,  to make PNG files from the PRT backtest results.

Is it possible that the PRT software development team makes the option available that you can export the first three tabs of the PRT Backtest result into a PNG file ?

As they have done it already for the graphs, could they extend the feature for the backtest results ?

    Kind regards, Jan

Jan, have you tried the free Snip & Sketch tool that comes with Windows 10?
