Hi
The platform regularly crashes after Macbook Pro with latest s/ware is woken up from sleep or I leave the PRT on one desktop and work on another of my 5 desktops in another app.
Platform name “Multi Indicator Samsung” template layout has been completely messed up.
I thought I’d be able to recover the template and 15 or so charts using a back up but even the back up version that also fits my 50″ Samsung TV (that I use as a monitor) is reduced to utter chaos. This is what is left of a approximately 15 chart “Multi Indicator Samsung” template: Pls see image below. The new auto trading system I was working on has appeared when I called up this “backup” template even though I am sure I never worked on the system in that template?
I have configured these templates and the charts SO MANY TIMES to fit neatly across my 50” monitor only to find no semblance of them after such a crash.
As it stands your platform and the latest Mac 10.14.6 is unstable and unusable.
Thanks..

Might I ask … how many Systems do you have listed (Running + Non-Running) in the ProOrder Auto-Trading window?

Might I also ask you Vonasi … how many Systems do you have listed (Running + Non-Running) in the ProOrder Auto-Trading window?
I’ll tell you why when you and Bard have answered! 🙂

10/24/2019 at 3:00 PM #111085Commiserations, it is hugely time consuming. I wonder if I should see if it’s more stable on my VMware Fusion s/ware that turns the Mac into Windows… It’s just right now I can’t face having to set these chart dimensions up yet again and organise them across the Samsung screen. (I like to size the PRT charts the same as what I got used to in IG Index’s web platform).

Update: I launched PRT to try out your High / Low Vonasi Implied Volatility indicator and everything within the “Multi Indicator Samsung” template is restored/back to normal? Phew… although still doesn’t explain crashes and lost indicators at the weekend.

When I was getting loads of crashes I had the max 25 Systems running and 75 ish non-running (as the max is 100) and loads Systems in the Indicators & Trading Systems screen.
12 months ago I reduced to ONLY 25 running Systems ( zero non-running) and also zero Systems listed / showing in the Indicators & Trading Systems screen.
Anyway sure enough the numbers built up again such that by a month or so back the Systems had built back up to the levels above and I was getting weird stuff happening again!.
So with a big effort I reduced to 25 running Systems and zero in the Indicators & Trading Systems screen.
I can now leave SB, CFD and another account’s SB screen open all day long with no weird stuff happening.
However, judging by the relatively low numbers of Systems Bard and Vonasi state they have listed on their screens, my hunch / theory … that too many Systems listed / saved against a PRT Profile leads to crashes / weird stuff … may be flawed??

10/24/2019 at 8:07 PM #111123The only solution so far seems to be adding the code then saving and quitting every 10 minutes and re-launching!
Or just hit CTRL+S every so often. When I have a ‘oh God I think that looks really good’ moment or a ‘I think it is finished’ moment I now instinctively hit CTRL+S and everything is saved.
