    Hello,

Would it be difficult for Prorealtime programmers to create a small API that just send an instruction (so we can use it in other programs) when certain indicators are triggered?

Since offline alerts are not sent to Prorealtime servers and we can´t get SMS or emails, why there is no option for a small code that just sends an instruction (in your own computer) to a different software (Zapier, Pushover, IFTTT , etc) so we can receive emails or sms when our indicators are triggered? Something that works just in our computer (not sending anything to Prorealtime servers).

I don´t think it would be too complicated: a certain indicator triggers at a certain level—>it creates an instruction so other software (in our computer) can send us a SMS or email.

It would make a lot of difference since the biggest issue with Prorealtime is offline alerts (that you can´t receive unless you are at your computer at every moment watching the screen or using sounds). There are many indicators that just work offline, so what is the point of having them if they make us be lots of hours with stress waiting for them to trigger? It would be much better a small code that just send an instruction and we receive it in our mobile phones (via a different software) so we can buy or sell  with our own phones at any moment.

Is this planned in Prorealtime? Can you pass this idea to the coders?

    Thank you in advance.

I suggest that you write to PRT and post here https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/centralization-of-queries-and-suggestions-on-prorealtime/.

Other software that can be used to send emails and sms: Twilio, Airdroid. It would be just using their SDK to make it usable with Prorealtime. I don´t think it would anything more than a few lines of code and the advantages would be massive for Prorealtime users.
