Hello All,
Not sure if this is a me thing but I could’ve sworn that when I used to draw with say a ‘Ruler’, the Crosshair that I have selected as my default cursor, would remain visible. So when drawing a Ruler off in the distance the Crosshair (and it’s price) would allow for complete accuracy first up.
Only the first point selected remains visible from the initial click, once you move off and move towards the intended point the Crosshair is no longer visible and you’re left guessing where it might land.
Once drawn and then moved about the Crosshair remains visible and allows a clean up but I could’ve sworn it was always a thing (visibility). I could be my covid brain but it’s doing my head in a little… 🙂
Also happens with other drawn items as well, horizontal line for example.
Apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere.
Appreciate the feedback.

Check again and enter cross under Settings, let us know how you get on.
Yes I get a cross when drawing etc
01/23/2023 at 11:13 AM #207943Yeah, I get a cross up until I begin to draw, then it becomes a pointed finger and will maintain the cross underneath until I begin to move to the desired spot, then it proceeds to draw but without the cross.
Really weird in that I’m only noticing it now ….
I’m wondering whether it’s tied to my templates.
Will look at the default template and see how that fares.
edit:
All templates doing the same thing by the looks.
Thanks again Gra, for something so trivial it has me stumped at the minute lol
01/23/2023 at 11:42 AM #207951then it becomes a pointed finger and will maintain the cross underneath
Ha now you describe it fully, mine does the same! 🙂
Cursor changes from a cross to a hand / pointing finger. When the hand shows, date and price are highlighted ( like with the cross, but the cross is now invisible) until I finish drawing then the cross is visible again.
Above must be the default action.

01/23/2023 at 11:51 AM #207953Cheers mate, many thanks for digging at it a bit further. Yeah, not the best explanation by me, apologies … 🙂
Thing is, I could have sworn that it was a bit different bitd.
Would be useful to those who don’t always anchor there drawings to high lows for example and a bit further out, probably just means my charts are a mess ha!

01/23/2023 at 11:56 AM #207955I recall in the past when drawing that the text High appeared if one was near a high and same for Low.
Do you or anybody still get above or know how to get Settings to do above?
For ages, all I get is a tiny little square and sometimes not even the square … which is hardly visible anyway.

Time to close this one off I think, looks like it’s a feature I’ve not tweaked to before.
01/25/2023 at 8:08 AM #208161Ah well the tiny little square must be the default now and showing text – High or Low – are gone!
Looks like the cross is working as before now, so at least I know I wasn’t imaging it … !
So something changed but can’t see any MS related updates, there was a JAVA update a few days back though. No idea tbh.
Came good during the course of todays Asian session.
Some feedback from the brains-trust would be nice.
