cursor details no longer appearing on chart even when box checked

  For some reason an the update to 10.3 from 10.2 on IG has broken cursor details on charts in the past week or two. The cursor details display fine if you have its own window open but they will no longer display on charts even when the “display cursor details on chart windows” box is checked.

  Also the highlight of candles on lower timeframe when higher time frame candle is hovered over no is no longer working, eg, when I hover over 1 hr candle on 1hr chart, on my 5 min chart all the candles during that hour were highlighted but this is no longer the case after the update.

  I assume this is a bug?

  I can’t recall ever seeing this feature, but then maybe I have always been on v10.3,

  Re cursor details … are you saying that if you right click, Display, Cursor Details then you get Cursor Details okay?

  I just ticked my box and mine display okay, but you have to hover for a second or so before the cursor details appear.

  Double check that you have enabled Cursor Details as maybe you did enable but you didn’t save on Exit etc?

  Everything is working fine for me. Did you try to restart the platform? Is the problem persistent or happen once in a while?

  happens all the time, i restart my platform every day. I also switched to the default template to see if my template was causing it but no cursor details on charts regardless of what template I use.

  I’m running it on fedora linux, JVM 1.8.0_232 with icetea launcher, i’m sure the problem is due to the update as before 22 jan it was working fine.

  for anyone interested this problem has just been fixed today. IG seem to have updated prorealtime, I also noticed that they are no longer requiring icetea/javawebstart to launch prorealtime which was no longer supported from java 9 onwards.

  Does this mean prorealtime will run on more modern JVMs like java 11 or does it still only run on java 8? I have both java 8 and java 11 on my machine and set java 11 as default in my OS but prorealtime 10.3 still ends up using java 8.
