    Hello,

    I love PRT to follow markets and to build my own personnalized trading environment, with my own indicators etc but I hate it when it comes to trading.

    1. Not easy to close partially an outstanding position manually

    2. Not possible to put an outstanding position to breakeven automatically

    3. Not possible to set different TP in advance with partial closure along the way

    4. Not possible to code a trailing stop and activating it when I trade manually.

    5. Not possible to code a stop based on indicators and activating it when I trade manually

    6. Lag between the moment I click to trade and the price I’m really executed

    in view of what I consider to major weaknesses that seems surprisingly not to be on top on the agenda of PRT team, I plan to develop all this by myself via the API of my broker. Has somebody already done this, or thought about doing it. Is there any limitation I’m not aware of?

    thx you for your feedback

    Not possible to link limit / stop orders manually to an already trading Auto-System.

    Ok but here it’s not about a ProOrder, but more about taking a trade manually, and move stops/limits when some conditions are met without human intervention

    I regularly have live trades – that made a logical auto entry – but market structure is such that it is crying out for an exit at a certain price level (60% Fib retrace, daily support / resistance etc) so  I would love to link a manual limit or stop order to the auto trade and then stop worrying about it! 🙂

    The 60% Fib retrace, daily support / resistance were not taken account of in the System code … who does / can?? 🙂

    I do above all the time via the IG Platform but then the Trade performance does not show in the Detailed Report for the Auto-System.

    I guess it’s an odd thing I do and probably not what you want / need to complicate what you are trying to do!? 🙂

    I’ll put it through to PRT as a suggestion!  I’ll do it now in fact!!! hahah

    Maybe it is a little late but a solution exists if you have a little budget for it;
