Does ‘$trailing’ for shares work ??

Hello, I have done extensive testing on this issue and there is no way it can work properly. While it works for futures (using trailing or ptrailing), and also works well with shares using ‘%trailing’, but no way with an amount of the currency of the stock. SET STOP $TRAILING 0.20 // as the simplest command, it should set the trailing stop 0.20$ or 20 cents from the current price. Please, if anybody can confirm this or has any hint to help, I appreciate. I have already read all issues about stop trailing in this forum, no one adress this exactly as I say. Thanks
