Entering orders on stop …

  If an entry order on stop is generated on the close of a bar, what factors determine how long that order is valid for – is it until a second order is gererated?

  Hi merc1203, as far as I know, an order is generated and remains while your conditions are meet. If your conditions are not meet at next bar order should be canceled.

  Stop and limit orders (pending orders) are only valid during 1 bar, so you have to put them at each new one.
