My name is Robert from the Netherlands
Love trading the DAX not yet with succes but thats oke.
Does some knows why a test works well , and the live trading stops, i think because of $trailstop 15 ( sorry got to keep it tight )
I did this on the code from DAX DAY TRADE the trend 15 min time frame
Greetings
Robert

05/13/2016 at 3:24 PM #7021Hello Robert, at least you are there! Damn login problem! 🙂
Well, this the question I would like to be paid to answer it, because I would be rich now 🙂
PRT don’t handle fine the trailing stop in ProBacktest, so real trading behaviour is somehow different.

05/13/2016 at 5:45 PM #7031Haha hello, Nicolas, Yes i made it…
A friend of my told me to use the OBV as also the MACD like you made in that DAX code. He said, use it for your early warning as also Expentinal Moving Average 50 / 200
And Median Price HL/2
Now i wonder of it is possible to combine an OBV to that same indicator MACD.
Because i was watching it trade on 2 screens, and sometimes i stopped the program, because i saw on the 1 min chart that OBV was pointing down and on the 15 min in PRT the MACD was green for buy. So if the bars was open the trade would be a los.
So if every time a new bar opens and the order is placed, you could be making little profits at the start of the new bar.
Hope i said it right. I will try to make an image of the MACD and draw a line to show what i mean.
Have a good weekend
Robert
