I stated several times above
Us mods have keep our toes in an awful lot of different topics and do not memorise them all nor have the time to go back and re-read everything before trying to help!
Usually if your subject is different to a current thread (such as discussing a totally different window to the one being discussed and for manual trading not auto-trading) then it is better to start a new topic – that way those who jump in at the bottom of an old thread don’t have to guess that it has little to do with the topic title or what was being previously discussed.

And for us members its not so very clear when or when not to start a new thread without having a mod telling us “theres already a thread for this”.
I was just trying to elaborate on the question you yourself first lifted, as i saw them as connected to the same topic which was a visual representation of performance (and thus gains/losses). Hardly a totally different subject.
But whatever, point taken. I thank you for your idea with “view performance” though, will try to make something cool out of it!
Cheers

You could always consider using the search box. 🙂
There are many repeated topics on exactly the same subject within the forums asking exactly the same question. The best solution is to search first and if you don’t find a similar topic that answers your question then start a new one rather than thread drift an old topic.
The search facility is why us mods are very keen that everyone uses topic titles that actually clearly relate to the topic. It makes it so much easier for us and for everyone viewing the site if everything is easy to find and it means that we don’t have to answer the same question ten times a week.
I believe this thread has now drifted far enough. 🙂
09/19/2019 at 3:48 PM #107971Im bumping this thread with a similar request;
In backtesting theres another performance graph called Equity Curve which show the return in your preferred currency in “real time” – not “gain per closed trade” that the performance chart shows.
Is there any way to use/add/open this while live trading? Would be awesome! Perhaps i have missed something but i cant seem to find it.
IM BACK! 😀 😉
I found what i was looking for and just wanted to share it here if anyone finds it useful (see pictures). So what you need to do is 1. Have an open position 2. Check “Open Positions” 3. Click the Detailed Report-icon (see picture) 4. Voila!
Cheers!

09/19/2019 at 10:45 PM #108015I don’t understand what this Chart is showing me?
I have 10 Open Positions … 1 Buy today and 1 Sell today according to the Open Positions Table.
However, my Chart attached shows 8 trades … all today?
On my Orders List for today my Systems have done 25 trades.
Anybody offer anything re what is this Chart supposed to show us??
09/20/2019 at 9:16 AM #108045Its showing you the current gain/loss of your open positions on that given market. It wont show all gains for all markets but only for one at the time..
Edit:
Posting picture.

Have in mind that whatever period you chose in the “Detailed Report” window (Today, This Week, This Month etc) matters in how far back the Equity Curve will show historically 🙂
