How to get rid of the buy/sell button on the charts?
I mean this
04/24/2024 at 6:12 PM #231903Point to the button with the mouse and right click and select ‘Remove from Toolbar’?
Let us know if it works?

04/24/2024 at 6:14 PM #231904Hi, if version v11, go to main menu, then “settings”,
and then please see attached image, sorry menu is in French but line location should be the same for any language,
within Trading category, first line is Graphics, and in right pane on the last line about those buy sell buttons, there’s a box to untick

04/24/2024 at 6:24 PM #231907Yes, this can drive you mad.
So I just got mad …Below you can see that I don’t have that (V12). But for the life of me I can’t find the setting. However, do notice that this account was auto-setup from V11. Possibly it springs from there (an explicit setting which simply does not exist in V12, but which surely is configurable for V12 under the hood).
Generally the way the settings have been set up in V12 can drive one mad anyway.
PS, Edit : I now think that you show this is in V11, right ? Well I don’t have those buttons there either. But I am in for stiff drink now. Maybe later.
ehhPPS: Interesting to see where suddenly the replies come from (GraHal, JC). There were not there a minute ago.

No.
It doesn’t appear any “Remove from Toolbar” 🙂

Thanks, but I am on version 12 so that menu is not available

Thanks, anyway
I am waiting that some ideas can come out after that strong drink 😀
04/24/2024 at 6:38 PM #231912For v12, it’s in a slightly different location then, still “Settings” / “Trading” to start with, and then please see attached image (sorry, still in French, but should be same location in other languages as surrounded in orange)

Thanks but, since I have only end of day data (=no subscription for real time), when I click on “Settings -> Trading” it appears a request to subscribe (see below)
If I click on the “general” settings no Trading section appears.
Sorry if I didn’t specify it in my first post
Anyway I mark it as “solved” since I think that the solution is in what you posted.
Thanks again
04/25/2024 at 4:43 AM #231930After drinking, but sober again, it is the one you see at the bottom, chosen from the option in the left border at the mouse pointer.
Took me 20 minutes again and I am ready for a high bridge for the day. However …This is V11.1.
After knowing this AND SEEING IT COINCIDENTALLY WORK ON ONE CHART (not a chart I clicked to activate it), I could look for it in V12 and end up at the same screen I already tried yesterday before drinking, tried that by now 30 minutes ago (in V12) not seeing it do anything anywhere, I am not sure whether to have coffee before looking for that bridge or to skip that part of life.
So, in V12 it just does not do a thing anywhere and in V11.1 I see the icons/buttons appear on one chart of 25 or so on screen. Why that one only ? well, again 5 minutes later, because that chart shows the “indicator data” in fixed fashion, which the other charts don’t. So the trading icons don’t appear in the other charts either.
Totally ready for the mad house, JC got it right.
But really, finding settings in V12 has become a sheer hell. Too much is context sensitive and contents may be different depending on where you come from (this was not so in V11). Take for example the screen I show below (thus from V11.1); in V12 that exists too with the settable trading icons (Open, Close, Stop Loss etc.). I think I ran into that 2 times in more than a year of time, and when I try to find that today I can’t manage. All I know is that you must come from a specific place to find these. And this is just one example. With the example from V11.1 we should be able to search for that screen(‘s data) in V12. Well try it (of course you out there may need to know the shown terms in your own (PRT-) language … but it can’t be found (by using the search box in the top left). This means it is not there out of context. Still it is by my 100% guarantee there somewhere and I know you can get there by means of some “Configure this area”. This, while the icons are general.
This is how we start drinking.
Ok, coffee for now.1 user thanked author for this post.
