Hi
Im kinda new to PRT, use it now over 7 weeks but run into a problem. Today I switched account for PRT and noticed that my old template is not loading. I even activated the option “start on this computer with this workspace” with the previous account.
Since I had a lot of hours in tweaking indicators and setting up maps I really need my old template back. I know for sure it is saved somewhere on my pc but dont know whereI hope someone cal help me out with this.
Thanks in advance

What does above mean in practice? New Account or a second Account?
Either way, Templates are tied to an Account so are you able to go back to the old Account where you created / saved the Temlpates?
Templates are not saved on our PC’s, but are saved on PRT’s Servers.

If you go Help > export my personal data then you can get a zip file of lots of data but even then you cannot import back into PRT directly.
07/07/2021 at 7:15 AM #173268Where can i file a complain with PRT? I pay a **** load of money every month for the data and use of this program and then a simple finction like this is not present? That is really crazy talk…
And does PRT also takes requests to make new functions in new releases?
07/07/2021 at 8:17 AM #173270You can make a Suggestion on the form below.

I would not phrase your suggestion as a complaint … I tried that (a few years back) and it got me nowhere (did not get a result) and left me frustrated due to feeling ignored!
There may be good technical reasons why transfer of Templates from one Account to another are not possible or very difficult to achieve … e.g. Templates are set up on specific charts set up by the user on the original Account etc.
Also limited resource at PRT means not all of our Suggestions / wishes can all be granted.
07/07/2021 at 10:29 AM #173278Many thanks for the answer..
Still I am furious. I pay over 1000 bugs ( I leave out how much exactly) per month and end up with this??? That is really unacceptable as you would understand.
Anyway I will see what to do. Making suggestions and not being followed up after years means I can waste my time doing it again…. Not feeling doing so right now lol.
KUDOS for you for helping a brother out.
07/07/2021 at 10:33 AM #173280DGRL, sorry about the loss of your template.
For me PRT is a great trading platform but after several years using it for me the techinal assistance and the errors/improvement solving is as doesn´t exist. For me it´s the only way to cope with the frustration of being ignored and see the same silly easily fixeable mistakes during years version after version.

How come you not with IG as the platform comes free if you do more than minmum trades per month (equates roughly to providing IG with > £30 per month in spread fees and / or losses etc)

@DGRL, When you ask(ed) for a new account you could have asked PRT support to copy your template from the account you had in use. Regarding the sequence of things I ran into once regarding this, I’d say that this can still be done. Besides, the “template copying” is unrelated to subscriptions, so I don’t see what can be messed up when doing it later.07/10/2021 at 12:29 PM #173415 -
