How to save Templates

Hi,
Is there any way to save Templates? I had to re-do them all when switching from PRT’s Demo to IG’s Demo link, luckily I had all my custom Indicators and Scanners exported.
I can’t see any way to save templates though .. I want to do this for when I go to PRT premium ..

Maybe in a future release.

Seems crazy that you can’t just save your current configuration. There should be a “backup” one-button option that saves any custom changes to indicators/scanners/trading systems and templates. Having everything on the server and not allowing easy local backups is not good.

08/31/2017 at 10:17 AM #45013Yeah. Thanks people. This is of great help. I’m going to ring PRT and find a way of linking my demo templates with my IG live account . . . Unless they can export my demo chart into live form from their end? We shall see . . . .
08/15/2019 at 8:47 AM #104772Exactly what I want to be able to do. It doesn’t seem to have a way of exporting templates easily. So all the work you do in Demo you have to redo in Live. Any ideas when they will be sorting this ?

hey that message is from 08/31/2017 , two years later the problem remains….it seems that phone call wasn’t very successful to say the least
08/16/2019 at 8:26 AM #104839If you want your settings being moved from demo to a live account, just send a request to your broker. Many people have done this before without a problem 😉
