Elsborgtrading, do you have now Premium version?
Is it possible to have two multiple accounts, one opening direct from IG UK website(Complete PRT version) and second opening through prorealtime.com webside(Premium PRT version)?
Because, when I was trying to open second IG account through prorealtime.com webside, the IG system return with:” you already have an account with us”.I try different e-mail address(IG suggestion for me), but no result.
Also, what you think about the difference between IG Markets CFD account and Spread Betting account for using ProRealTime software?I find at IG help pages: Spread betting version-quick guide to proinvest automated dealing and CFD version-quick guide to ProOrder automated trading.
10/22/2016 at 10:37 AM #15305Status- I now have a Swedish version of IG web platform- that doesn’t come in English- but the PRT is “mostly” in english and it is Premium. I still have the Danish IG- where the web platform is in English. The new SE account spreads are a bit higher for every instrument, but I guess that is the payment for the Premium ver. of PRT. All in All I really don’t think it was worth having the SE account. I was hoping for it to be available in PRT beta ver. 10.3 but until it’s available and multiframe Proorder is a reality, I think I will be sticking to manuel trades.

Interesting!
can you give us an example? DAX spread dk versus se?
10/22/2016 at 2:54 PM #15320Hi guys,
Here are my experience with IG in Germany. I talked to IG support and they recommended to open a second account.
I tried to open a second IG account sponsored by PRT. IG online registration recognized that I’m already an IG customer and stopped the registration process with the hint I should open a new sub account. IG support told me it’s not possible to have an original IG account and an PRT sponsored account in parallel. I have to close my existing account and afterwards create a new PRT sponsored account :-(.
best, Reiner
10/22/2016 at 7:03 PM #15327Hi Guys.
Eric. the DAX is somewhat similar. however I know that spread will change around the clock- PRT list DAX as beeing 1, but we know that IG only has DAX 1 spread from 8:00-16:00 GMT+1. Here are some of the PRT spreads. https://www.prorealcode.com/PRT-CFD-english/
I noticed that some FX spreads were 0.2 higher. Not much, but I think it would change around the clock.
@Reiner. Well I tried two time to get a 2nd account- it actually succeeded now with PRT and a Swedish IG account. If you read all threads in this post- you will see how frustrating it is to create a 2nd account with IG. Also I did not write about my first attempt. Anyway. Call them – Eventually you will get one IG staff that knows what to do. It seems like that the Swedish or UK department are allowed to have multible acount- not Danish. Perhaps that the same issue with GE? however as a Danish citizen it’s not allowed to have a UK account- but it seems like the Swedish account was no problem. I guess it has something to do with tax.when applying more than once with IG it will recognize you as already being a costumer, but they will get the 2nd application if you managed to fill out all the online form. I call them every time. just to make sure they got it
cheers Kasper
10/25/2016 at 2:10 PM #15481Hi All,
I am UK based and opened an IG Spread betting account. UK betting laws are slightly different so currently depending on your status you don’t need to pay tax on gains. I receive the PRT Complete version for free provided I make 4 trades per calendar month. Not actually sure if that is each way or round turn. They no longer debit my account at the beginning of the month for the platform and then credit it back at the end of the month. I guess if you don’t trade they just charge at the end of the month. I wanted the opportunity to use the platform before I made any financial commitment. So far all is well, platform is responsive and no latency issues which I have experienced with MT4 through multiple brokerages. The charge for a dormant account is £30 per month.
The IG Version is definitely Complete and not Premium
