    Yes the country shows up but when you try to submit the form. It says residents of Australia cannot signup for live account.

    I could signup with IG or IB in direct from PRT if it was allowed. Afterall we need to fill out IG form, but this thing is something i cannot get.

    Yes would be great if you could find out more or some workaround to use IG preferably directly through PRT

    Well I learn something new everyday! I guess there is some regulatory reason that Australia is excluded so I imagine that there is not a work around unfortunately.

    It’s nice that you have to fill the whole form in before they tell you that you are not eligible! I’ll have an off forum chat with Nicolas and he can check with PRT about it but I imagine that there is not much PRT can do about it if IB don’t allow Australian clients to use the PRT platform.

    Do anybody use any other alternatives to PRT for automated systems? I have read about: ninja, metatrader, amibroker, python….  Any opinion about them?

    Ninjatrader, my, amibroker Multicharts are trading platform but they are all allow automatic trading client side which means getting a VPS with Windows and keep trade with it.

    Python is a general programming language that can be used to build algorithmic tradi platform as well as C or java but this is hard work to do.

    Personally I would prefer a server side trading like the one proposed by prt, I will wait for IB integration.

    And last thing is that using your own client side platform you will use API and not the FIX protocol that guarantee much better performance.

    Does anyone know why IG cannot offer its trading via PRT? They do for Europe but not for Australia. Offering directly via PRT would have saved us from years of waiting for new version. Even if they didn’t do it before, they should certainly do it now as update to V11 by IG is not going to happen. May be we will have V12 by then

    Hey guys, i’ve found an update by IG on trustpilot; they said that they wanted to release v11 on August, but it’s now delayed to AT LEAST October because of covid-19.

    Does anyone know why IG cannot offer its trading via PRT?

    1. Are you asking … if we open an Account direct with PRT then why can we not use IG data?

    2.  If Yes, then I guess IG prefer us to Open an Account direct with IG and use the PRT Platform and then IG make more revenue by paying less fees to PRT (than in scenario 1)?

    Reply from IG today that they have no idea and no plans/updates on the PRT 11 release date. They actually taking a p**s and def not interested in their clientele getting hands on the proper version with functions other platforms have for years compared to 10th version. Hope they still push it out this year for all us on IG though. Fingers crossed.

    They told they have been working on some important project, so PRT 11 is nowhere near. One of the worst companies to choose as broker. No wonder they got some terrible reviews from thousands of customers.

    Providing clients with up to date software is not an important project for them. Have seen no change with anything with IG’s so not sure what project they have worked for other than their website design. Totally dissatisfied with IG

    Yup, completely seems that way. Keeping clients with outdated platform sure as hell don’t require any new projects beforehand but IIWII and just goes to show that clients are at the very end of the pipeline for them. Shame.

    Everyone waiting for IG to release V 11 for year and half should ask them why they are so backward using trustpilot – they will answer to these reviews, here is the link,

    Individually emailing IG makes absolutely no difference, as they don’t care at all. 2 years for a software update is shocking and clients have every right to say so,

    Great Roberto, everyone should go ahead and ask them at trustpilot. This is important if you want PRT 11.

    Reviews on trustpilot are def throwing many new and old clientele off. Hope they start paying attention and caring about their customers a bit more then about their money. To me personally not giving newest platform updates to customers is tactics to leave them aside one or ten steps behind other brokers and their platforms. All they do is keep changing/updating their website to attract more clientele when in reality they ain’t doing shit to help clientele WIN. Smh.  It’s a damn shame and hope they resolve all the issues and come out on top of their game this year. Anyway everybody should go to trustpilot and leave their own review regarding these issues and maybe just maybe that would ring the right bell  for once cuz all I hear and read is only excuses from their side and nothing else:(
