Which ‘button’ are you referring to?
I have the problem you describe if I try and click on the cross against a manual trade to close it … sometimes it works first time, but other times I need 2 or 3 clicks to get it to close the trade and by that time I could my profit could be down 5 to 10 points or loss made bigger.
It seems to me to be due to the centre of the cross not ‘snapping to the cursor’ as if I clck slightly off-centre then the trade closes but the off-centre click are is not consistent?
06/16/2024 at 1:38 PM #233948I put in a video in the other thread but here it is for clarity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gx997aFT6tM . I can’t delete this thread. Maybe it’s just a general issue with the app where some buttons don’t respond to fast clicks or movements. Clicking on the chart to trade works great for me though.
But I did notice some lags with other buttons in preferences.

I see a bit of that in AUS but us APAC customers are a fair way out and suffer from submarine cable cuts all to regular lately that can knockon.
EU comes in for a bit of ddos hammering as well, so something else to consider.
If you tether your MAC to your mobile service provider and issues disappear it could be a starting point. Otherwise could be a platform interop feature that should be ticketed after doing due diligence.
FWIW, I don’t blame everything on packet loss but when it’s there it can be a problem. Also make sure if you need firewall-av-exclusions for PRT you do what’s needed and be mindful of what IT-Finance offers by way of network ranges – advice. I kind of have a problem with excluding slabs of network-ranges because if you do it wrong you could expose yourself. I’m reasonably certain modern OS can allow you to choose outbound ‘connection rules’ as admin based on use etc so should be okay but we need to be careful. Then there’s AV that can go a bit bonkers, had Bitdefender do this a while back and necessitated a complete reinstallation to overcome insane amounts of CPU / Memory usage.
Off the beaten path but could help with workflows.
