Latent Gain vs IG P&L

  Does anyone now why there is a difference between latent gain in the PRT screen versus the p&L in the IG screen ?

  Both have the same entry point for the security.

  The Difference varies between 8 and 20 points in this case.

  Really curious to have an answer on this. It is strange and it seems the bigger the loss ( I assume gain) the bigger the difference.

  Which is correct, do you reckon? Or neither maybe??

  PRT based on mid price, whereas IG based on buy or sell price depending on if a Short or Long?

  Thanks Grahal, much appreciated.

  IG is closer to reality, both IG and PRT have the same price opening , even buy/sell/mid price would not explain such a difference. The spread on NAsdaq is 2 pts, so that would not explain such a difference like 50 pts in the last screenshot.

  I will pot on the other 2 links you ahve sent. First on PRT as IG community might not be knowledgeable of PRT I guess.

  Considering the difference, can PRT algo then make incorrect decision ?
