Since updating to v11 i cant see even close to proper history though using weekly or monthly bars. Before i could see pretty much everything. How do i fix this?
05/01/2021 at 6:34 AM #16850005/01/2021 at 5:55 PM #168527i can use 10, 20 or 30k units and even choose 30 years – doesnt matter – doesnt go further
05/01/2021 at 7:27 PM #16853005/01/2021 at 10:10 PM #168535with all due respect but you seem to misunderstand my issue. if you look at the enclosed pictures you see for instance in the monthly chart i have 1k units, which would be enough to show back to 1980s/90s yet only loads enough bars for it to go back to ca 2013. the issue is there is not enough/any data history for PRT to load.
05/01/2021 at 10:35 PM #168536In at least two of your charts, the symbol I posted is not greyed out, which usually means that there is more data to show. If all available data is shown, the symbol will be greyed out.
In my v11 with IG, I have data back to the 90s or 80s in DAX and NASDAQ, as it used to be before.
05/02/2021 at 7:31 PM #168608That icon has nothing to do with data unfortunately, its just an “expand” button. Here it is clicked, with 1W and 50k units (see image). Its really weird..
You mention you get the entire history, is this both cash markets and futures?
05/02/2021 at 8:01 PM #168610That’s odd. Here is what I get for a DAX cash market daily chart, back to 1991. Futures don’t go back that far, usually.
Also, it appears strange to me that you get different data ranges for the two DAX charts in your first and your last post. One is back to 2007, the other only back to 2013. Different configuration somewhere ? I have never encountered this problem before.
05/02/2021 at 9:01 PM #168612Thats really weird…. 😀 i didnt even think about it now showed 2007 and not 2013..
i dont remember if i perhaps had a different ”trading hours” (9-1730) chosen in the first one, but the last pic is 24/7 (default) but even that shouldnt make such a difference on the history?
oh well perhaps any PRT-staff is able to solve this when theyre back in office.
05/02/2021 at 9:39 PM #168615Solved it!
The box ”Apply to non intraday time frame (Daily Weekly Monthly)” was ticked in Custom Trading Hours. When unticked i get the full history, as shown in your chart.
case closed! 🙂
