I’ve found, often that is due to using a position size that < minimum on Demo.
For example …
On UK SB Live, DJI min >= 0.2 contracts.
On UK SB Demo, DJI min >= 1 contracts.

Lots, but not all, of mine gave error as ‘broker could not determine status of last order’ .
