MACD indicator

    <p>Is it possible on DAX 5 min with the Macd indicator to go long when the current red bar smaller is than the previous red bar. And go furter long when the current green bar is bigger tha the previous green bar?</p><p>And also go short when the current green bar is smaller than the previous green bar and go further short when the current red bar is bigger than the previous red bar?</p>

    Are you talking about just the histogram part on MACD ? Yeah im sure its possible , pretty easily at that    Just found this on Prorealtime site , pretty well exactly what you are looking for

    Can I do that by/with “simplified creation”? And how?

    Or just only with/by “creation by programming”?

    Iam just new here on this platform, so I made something with “simplified creation” Thats working,  but not that he start “short” when the current green bar smaller is than the previous green bar. Or start “long” when the current red bar is smaller than the previous red bar…

    Plenty of tutorial videos to get you started .  The difficulty of instructing you with words on how to use simplified creation is beyond what im willing to do , easier for me to just write the code but in the long term i think its better you attempt it via the video . If you have a code thats not working correctly how about posting it here using   <> tab above and someone here will help you correct any mistakes

    just check if macd is under 0 and >  previous period for long
