Yes I agree, I often restart if I’ve been doing a lot of Backtests.
My PRT has been slow from first start up today and even after several restarts.
I am with IG, maybe IG are the source of slowness?
I will see if any improvement tomorrow and report back.
06/07/2016 at 10:56 AM #8925In the attached photo can anyone explain why the ProRealTime Launcher is different on my LIVE account to my DEMO account? Both snapshots are taken from Internet Explorer. As per the start of this thread the DEMO account now has the launcher shown on the right in the photo and the LIVE account has not changed. You can see in the two screen prints the related Tabs to each launcher. Just curious to know if this is correct or if there is a problem with my browser?

I have three demo accounts and use Chrome for two of them and IE for the other including my LIVE account. In Chrome the launcher is now the new style for both demo accounts and as previously explained IE is different depending on which account you are logged in as. Makes me wonder if it would be the same in Chrome on LIVE…. Just going to check that out.

If you have the big button ‘launch your platform’, it is because you have installed the launcher software on your computer. But you can also launch it as usual with the little java file by clicking on the ” Start ProRealTime using Java ” instead.
This launcher is still not available for IG clients.
06/10/2016 at 9:13 AM #9183GraHal, it’s just a case of using different email addresses. One time when I called IG because I locked myself out of my account they simply told me to create a new one using a different email address. So now I have 3 in which I trial strategies for individual Forex.

Btw … I’m with IG and I have the big button launcher since Mon 6 June 16 and everything seems to be working fine.
