March: Solid Performance on NAS30 and DAX30
During March 2025, the market performance was mixed, and the markets were significantly influenced by political events related to Donald Trump’s trade policy. Germany’s market started weakly with negative outcomes for PA-DAX 10M and PA-DAX 15M. Uncertainty over Trump’s 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, coupled with threats of further tariffs against the EU, created a volatile situation on European exchanges.
However, PA-DAX 30M and PA-NAS 30M showed positive signs as the market recovered towards the end of the month – partly due to a temporary pause in the tariff threats against Canada and Mexico until April 2. Wall Street was also unstable during this period, negatively affecting PA-WS 3M V1.5. The S&P 500 dropped by approximately 5% during the first quarter, driven by concerns over an escalating trade conflict and a potential recession.
