Ah got it thanks. I understood that Renko does not technically use timeframe, but the prorealtime interface does have the option to change the timeframe on a Renko chart which changes the displayed image based on how the bricks are configured and causes the drawings to appear or disappear. For example, if you’re using average true range on a Wrenco chart and you switch from a one hour time frame to a 30 minute timeframe, the average true range changes and therefore the blocks size changes which means the Wrenco displays differently. In this environment, the drawings don’t transfer across.
I understand the issue is likely coming from, it could also be because I was using a Ray not a horizontal line and the ray starts at a very specific point in time which may not translate to the different displayed timeframe.
But it’s obviously the issue so thank you for your help!.
