Mattias,
Be careful of the self-acclaimed guru’s which there are many! I have been writing BOTs for a few years now, converting my strategies into code.
The key to a good BOT is risk management. A beginner’s standard error is to load up on contracts and take no account of max drawdown; they all seemed focused on profit and used crazy leverage, which is good on a run-up, possibly account busting on a drawdown.
The key to looking at the results of a published BOT is the risk it is taking and the max drawdown and not the get rich quick profit results.
Happy to help with some coding ideas you have, just for the fun of it!
Here is a link to my website to look at the BOTs and the excellent management they apply. I have and use about 15 BOTs and run BOT pools.

I am not an expert in BOTs but do trade for a living
Regards,
Steve

10/15/2021 at 10:08 AM #179717Sorry smpaxton, I missed your post, but thanks for replying!
My strategy has been running live for 11 months now, and I am still looking for a strategy to buy from the Marketplace that can show live results at least as good as mine for a similar period of time.
Please help me find something, I really want to buy!
Thanks.

If you wait to see the LIVE …. you will never see it who says and does not show has nothing to show, you know I could say that I learned to fly and maybe someone believes it and ….. anyway if you want integrate in your portfolio other algorithms in MarketPlace there are some that seem to work well, but above all they have been putting LIVE for many months and the only thing that matters …. but if you are interested I will let you learn to fly.
Hello10/21/2021 at 11:20 AM #180069@mattias, not a particularly helpful remark, something you would expect from a Facebook trasher…not here!
Everyone can have their view but trying to post disparaging comments is not that mature – What do you expect to get out of posts like the one you made……best save this for Facebook!

smpaxton, first of all, I don’t understand what comment I did that was not helpful. You said you used your strategy since March 2020, but you only post backtests.
Then I asked if you could post live results, like I did with my strategy above (only 11 months running, but still live results). It’s post #179717.
Thanks.
10/22/2021 at 9:16 AM #180135Steve @smpaxton, to me it seems that you read the comment from Paolo B. as if it was written by Mattias. Please see a couple of posts back.
I too don’t see what Mattias ever could have said wrongly or inordinate.
@Mattias, if you read into the descriptions of Steve’s bots, you can see that they are meant for education. At least that is how I read it and how the stance of Steve expresses in this forum just the same. Thus :
You could buy one of his source codes for GBP 250 (yep) and learn or expand from there. Meanwhile Steve could present a snapshot of his comments in the source, because without that it may be useless for others.
What you would learn from his bots is not only how to code certain “strategies” but merely what strategies actually are. That is, if I would announce that I trade for a living (which Steve does), you could expect that from me.Peace
