Just finish the morning live session. Peter @peterSt You are quite right and I apologise for the remark, it was aimed at PaoloB and not Mattias. You are also correct in that I aim to educate and help and do this live every day, I also do the live analysis and trades as well as bot development and execution. It’s all recorded every day…my aim is to help and educate!
As an offer in the channel, I am happy to grant the thread guys a weeks access to the live trading I do over zoom. I don’t just talk about this I do it live in front of an audience every day and it’s all recorded, so no hiding behind texts etc. We walk the wall every day!
In my room, we aim to make 1% to 3% a day every day…..and do it live tool
Already made the 1% and are now short (From 7,221) on the FTSE, Long on the NAS and S&P……BOTS are also active and can be seen trading live
Thanks for your constructive comments Peter and for putting me right on my comments.
Have a great weekend guys

10/22/2021 at 4:34 PM #180199Guys advised this morning. I don’t post unless I can back it up. I called 7,221 this morning for a short as above and took another 1% for the day £1,240 so up over 3% today
Check the charts, attached is a screenshot of the proof
As I mentioned I do this for a living so don’t feel the need to prove my integrity or claimed performance as I just can keep grinding the profits for my members! Screen od proof as some will want it
Have a great weekend guys
10/22/2021 at 4:42 PM #18020010/23/2021 at 9:41 AM #180212Thanks Peter for clarifying things.
However, we are a bit off-topic now, so let my try and make things clear.
I am NOT interested in:
- Backtest-results
- Anything related to Buy-and-Hold
- Trading rooms/channels
I AM interested in:
- Screenshots of live-results from a profitable strategy at least 11 months back in time (to present date)
Doesn’t this exist?
10/23/2021 at 10:39 AM #180217I rather suspect whatever I post will be claimed as fake also! – as you well know it’s easy to fake “real results” so I won’t spend my time downloading multiple bot data for potential unhelpful comments – so this thread has probably run its course
@PeterST was correct in the use of the bots and learning that can be gainedI run many BOTs concurrently and also switch them on and off as tools as markets conditions change and unforeseen volatility is seen. The BOTs mainly are for my traders who use them on a regular basis. Not really chasing any sales for such a small amount. Sounds like you have been burnt seeking the gold trade or BOT

Doesn’t this exist? As I told elsewhere (and several times), I can’t see a single reason why any of my own strategies would run unchanged for a year. Not even one month.
So both feet on the ground, and self-respecting coder/trader will see new possibilities and opportunities so regularly, that he/she would be stealing from him/herself if not once in a while he/she sits down a couple of days to apply the changes. This (attachment) is live all right, but still not ready for game. The past week it was changed each day, hopefully each time for the better.
There is no single way (yet) that this approaches my manual trading. One thing : this is 100 times more fun and I am more interested what my auto trades are doing with small money than that I pay attention to my manual trading (read : this may cost money in itself, at times).I also told more often that if you can’t trade manually (with gains) then forget about autotrading … and sadly once you’re “good” at it, your autotrading will always lose (it will make less money). At least that is my perception and I don’t think my coding capabilities as such hold back even the slightest.
But some day …10/23/2021 at 12:23 PM #180234Auto traders I see as a tool as they never beat good manual trading, they never can in the waking hours because they do not have the ability to respond the news, live events, even the cycle of seasons (this can be coded based on past seasonal trading loosely). However, for instance, you would never run a long BOT in the US market in September and all of October as they will perform poorly – BUT you can trade the markets successfully (I abbreviate for brevity). This changes slightly each year. This year the US500 and DOW have pulled out the retrace early this year (BOTH providing new ATH) for instance so auto longs were OK this week whilst the NAS is lagging but will get there.
Markets do have seasons and months where you can do very well, so a BOT can and should be moulded to manage this to optimise returns. Anyone who tells you differently is probably and coder and not a trader. See for yourself, lull up a weekly chart and back text what I am stating and then tell me I am wrong!
Too many people are self-proclaimed experts….. Look at the charts and check you may change your mind on your opening line
In short, an auto BOT has little chance of beating a successful trader in waking hours – so I agree with your point. Also, BOTs are fun 👍🏻😁
10/23/2021 at 5:59 PM #180247If I have understood you correctly, this means one of two things:
A) I am lying and have manipulated my screenshot of my 5-lines-of-code strategy which displays 11 months of a successful automatic strategy.
B) I – a rookie that has been coding strategies for around 15 months only – am the only one that has been running a profitable strategy unchanged for 11 months time.
Have I a got it right or have I missed something?
10/23/2021 at 8:27 PM #180249I think that “unchanged” is the bottleneck here…
There are a lot of strategies live but with regular “updates” (so not unchanged).
My own strategy on the DAX is live (and unchanged) from only 15 sept 2021.
(The parameters used in this strategy are from a backtest over the last 13 years and it performed well with these (unchanged) parameters.)
10/23/2021 at 8:54 PM #180250I am sure no one is lying, just trying to educate how real markets work. For instance, markets never stay the same size over a year and therefore volatility relative in these changes – FACT
Of course, strategies will work over 1 or more periods. However, will this be optimal over that period, definitely not!
BOTs are tools and should be treated as such. Differently, conditions and size require different tools….sure one tool will cover a job but is a catch-all and not a stunned or optimised approach.
So don’t take the approach people are calling you a layer, use the information to be informed and help your development moving forward!
10/23/2021 at 9:52 PM #18025110/23/2021 at 10:15 PM #18025310/23/2021 at 10:16 PM #180254JS, yes you can clearly see the issues over time and the reasons why BOTs need to be tuned to provide the best results. backtesting over a long period only serves to show good entries, and varying performance as nothing has been tuned to market conditions.
Thanks for posting
