    Hi

I’ve been trying to send a simple query for over an hour and it won’t send? I’m using wifi and get this message. – pls see screenshot #2.

I get this warning: Only trade execution trades are to be reported below. Pls see screen #1

My query relates to 10 phantom trades taken at 6 second intervals last night. Does that not qualify?

    Cheers

Have you managed to send the message by now Bard?

It looks like you lost internet connection to PRT servers??

    #97370

Yeah, that’s what I thought so I tried it at home just now on a stable ethernet connection and got the same warning despite never having a problem messaging PRT in 3 years (It’s not a Antivirus or Firewall issue that I know of as nothings changed here).

I cant send an email to PRT Support – either from public wifi or a home ethernet connection?

    Here is my query:

    Hi

    Re: Phantom Trades

I was getting a yellow triangle warning saying “only trade execution queries are to be reported below” when I selected Tech Problems/Auto trading?… My query is a trade execution query:

Why do I have what look like ghost trades on my Demo Account showing up on the IG platform –  all opened last night at 6 second intervals – despite having no systems other than one than an old one that trades the Swissy but has only ever taken 5 trades since launch and certainly doesn’t trade at £18.87/point?

    Hello Bard,

IG has an issue on Demo accounts, clients are not able to open/close existing trades (grey orders) and when a strategy tries to open a trade become “failing”.

IG tech department is already looking into it.

    Regards,

    Jakub

    Thanks Jacob,

Can you confirm that the PRT demo fault triggers trades that are not part of any system that I have running? I ask because looking at the £18.87/point buy amounts that have been taken every 6 seconds I don’t have a system with that amount, nor on that trades that frequently?

Can I even close these positions if I try?

    Cheers
    Bard
