Issue is only for this particular code or with any other one? Still the same after a platform relaunch or not?
I think it was a one off as at the next platform launch the problem did not reoccur.
11/28/2018 at 12:00 AM #85873Weird things with the optimizion report window are still happening.
Earlier today my optimization report kept showing zero for all results but if I clicked on any results then the equity curve and back test report showed the correct results. I restarted my demo platform but it was still the same. I then changed the position size from 0.5 to 1.0 and the optimize report window displayed correctly. This was on EURUSD so 0.5 should be a usable position size for back testing.
I am now just working on a strategy that has three different ways to calculate the position size but the optimization report window is showing them to all have identical returns. Clicking on each one in turn shows the results and position sizing to be different.
My conclusion is that this bug with the optimization report window only occurs when position sizes with decimal places are used.
Here are three images showing the three different position sizes and yet the report shows identical results for all three!

Have you been able to find a solution to this problem you have posted. I have been struggling with the exact same issue for some time now, and I have not been able to find a solution.
I encountered this problem on version 10.3 and 11.1, I have tried using my live and demo accounts and the problem persists on both accounts. I have attached an example code’s results in order to show my problem.
Any help regarding this topic would be much appreciated.

Vonasi’s post is just above yours and you refernced his name. I think that’s enough for him to understand without need to make topics too long, more difficult to read and slower to load.
Thank you 🙂
02/21/2021 at 10:54 PM #162286This is a very old topic. Also the problem at this time was on v10.3 and we are now on v11.1 and so I imagine that your issue and the issue that I had way back when are not likely to be related at all.
I suggest sending a technical report via your platform and also maybe starting a new topic in the ‘Platform Support’ forum if you are now having a similar issue in v11.1
