@ Arno, @ Reiner – I too have no live position opened in the ASX (no errors shown in ProOrder either).
It looks like the software module is perhaps missing positions randomly, which will make it difficult to diagnose as not everyone has the same problem on the same instrument.
02/27/2017 at 7:32 PM #26586@ Manel, @ Reiner,
this is a recurring problem.
I run duplicate Pathfinder on a demo account at PRT and on a live account at IG.
I’ll ask the technical support why the position has not been opened also on my real account like on my demo account and above all why other people have not this problem in their account in live. It’s a big mystery for the moment…
I thought it was just a slight difference between demo and real, but if Reiner doesn’t have this problem in his real account, so there are differences in ProOrder behavior or a slight difference in the flow between client accounts.02/27/2017 at 7:51 PM #2659002/27/2017 at 8:38 PM #26594Mine is on IG spreadbet as well, same as Grahal. Can others who have either had the signal or the same issue confirm which platform they are using ? It may help us identify whether it’s a platform issue (and which one) or an individual issue. So far, 3 users are on IG spreadbet who haven’t had the signal.

I have CFD accounts (no spreadbet accounts in France).ASX Trade executed on my Demo PRT but nothing on Live IG (no errors shown in ProOrder).

Also, it should be run over daily and not 1hr timeframe.
02/27/2017 at 9:50 PM #2661202/27/2017 at 9:55 PM #26613@ Grahal – I have run a backtest over the 1hr vs Daily TF and it matches live – ie no trades on 1hr. I expect that it’s because the calculation of averages used in the code would all be different and also in the code it references Daily High and Lows and am not sure if PRT would be able to handle this if it’s run on a 1hr TF. I’m sure others with more knowledge would be able to explain further.
02/27/2017 at 10:12 PM #26614@Manel I only checked on 1 hour TF as an idea so I could see what prices did at the trigger time 01:00 GMT. My thoughts were that if the price ‘just touched the trigger point’ then immediately retreated, then it may have been a ‘wide spread’ that prevented my LIve System from executing.
I can confirm that I do run my Live System on a Daily Timeframe and it is the DFB.
I just checked on backtest and the Soyabeans trades executed on 22 Feb & 24 Feb. So I have a difference between Live trading and Demo / backtest trading.
