I think you also had the Silver 500oz running. It seems like we’ve been robbed by IG.
Around 01.00 hours this morning a spike down to 1.437 and stopped out and one minute later nearly back to the previous close.
No other dataprovider showed this spike down to this target. I have a very uncomfortable feeling about this.
Do you have any thoughts about this?
Thanks.
Best regards,
Patrick
07/07/2017 at 9:29 AM #4000207/07/2017 at 9:57 AM #40007A couple of months ago with the rollover of the Chicago wheat. They settled it wrong and they closed the position instead of rolling it over.
It was stopped out due to incorrect stops. That was in the end op april, so that must have been the May future.
It costed me € 460,00 and they also did not put the correct futures in my porto.
I mailed them and sent them all kind of evidence. They apologized and they added the right futures in my porto and credited me the money.
But this is something different. This looks like stop-running. Since they have their internal prices it is you against them. What can you proof?
That others have different prices? That is the problem i have with IG. It is never transparant because they create their own market. The chart of the 5000 Oz shows the same spike.
They see all stops and limits. Easy to manipulate when you see for example 20 or 100 (Pathfinder)stops in your orderbook. Hardly any movement last days and in the night they steal your money.
Our stop was at $ 1.483. It dropped to $ 1.437. The prize was around $ 1.600, which is a drop of 10% in 1 minute.
I have no clue what to do about it.

The prices are provided by a couple of businessbanks and they say they take the best price and build their spread around it.
That is what they told me in earlier cummunication regarding an other issue. So, important is that they can show us the price they got
from their dataproviders.
