Hello Reiner!
Nice to see you active here on the forum. Understand from the new versions that you still put a lot of time and hard work on Pathfinder which is much apreciated. On older versions you helped us who trade smaller accounts to downsize Pathfinder to lower risk. What parameters do you recommend for us to adjust on DAX V8 1H version?
Many thanks!

As far as i know it doesn’t remember the loss. But on the picture you attached you show two different indices. Left the Dax 1€ and right the Dax 5€. You can not compare those.
I can confirm that on the Dax this morning the V7 version added 3 positions at 09.00 hours. The reason why it didn’t add the positions on the 5€ version
can be several. Is it live? Not enough money, not enough contracts in ProOrder. Not enough margin. ( 3positions x € 5 = around € 1K margin).

According to the backtest they were closed at 08.00 hours.
Also the buying of the positions didn’t follow the BT yesterday. Mine bought every hour 1 position until 9 positions and the backtest
says 4 times 2 postions at 09.00, 10.00, 11.00 and 12.00 O’clock.
I have not changed anything in the positionsize of the code.
Anyone else with this issue?
Thanks.

After that i reactivated the Dax 1H V8 again and just at 11 O’clock it bought again 1 position…..
Mmmm….could be of course, but if it keeps buying every hour the rest of the day it doesn’t seems right.
According to the BT it bought at 10.00 hours 2 positions. Looks the same as yesterday.

More cumulating trades usually means more drawdown at some point as the equal and opposite reaction to more profit at others.
Reiner is running it live so it will be interesting to see what his has been doing compared to demo.
01/09/2018 at 11:36 AM #58562It looks like there is an issue with the trendmultiplier. It is not working properly or not at all.
If you change that to 1 in the code it is shut off and the trades look more or less what has happened in live trading.
But with the multiplier to 1 it is still in postion.
