Hi Guys,
I have worked out a chart for determining my position sizing for the DAX 4H V6.
I have adapted my seasonal multiplier and max position sizing in my code as detailed in the picture.
The plan is too reinvest the profits and increase my position size by 1 every 5000 account increase.
Does this look right? What are your thoughts.
01/09/2017 at 8:20 PM #20334Not very academic but simple! I think i will do the same…
however, when you stop the system, profits with this system are reset. Is it a problem for increasing the allocation (equity = Capital + StrategyProfit) in the next trade on this instrument?

But that’s the first time i’m doing that, so I maybe wrong!

Please set your country code in your profile. Smallest account size for Pathfinder DAX 4H V6 is in my opinion 4k (2 x max drawdown + margin * max.position size). For a 4k account size you have to reduce the max position size to 3 contracts and all saisonal multiplier to 1. I know here are some guys trading Pathfinder with a lower size but that is their own decision and they know the risk.
Best, Reiner

But it’s night time in China. Why is pathfinder taking positions at night? Do I need to change some settings so pathfinder only open trades when the market is open or in his after market hours?

I have seen that you still made some contributions in cfta’s great topic about grid orders. I wonder if the used exit mechanism used there could be useful in Pathfinder. Nicolas has recommended to replace trailing stop with this exit mechanism.
What do you think or better it would be great if you could verify it with your version for small accounts.
Thanks, Reiner
