“DefParam PreLoadBars”
I’m live on dax pathfinder and occationally i get an error message regarding the preloadbars.
I have read in previous posts that i’m not the only one with this error.
In the original code preloadbars is set to 10000. But i read this in en manual.
” By default this parameter is equal to 1000. It cannot be less than 0 or higher than 5000″
I have tried with 10000 and 20000 but with the same error message.
I’m setting it to 5000 now if nobody else has any suggestion?

Attached you’ll find a comparision of the two indices and you can see that the DAX has clearly outperformed the CAC in the last years (55% / 33%).

02/13/2017 at 3:59 PM #24980Thank you for your answer. I didn’t notice that there is a long biais in you strategy. Good to now.
What is relevant is that if we modify parameters on the cac, we don’t managed to be profitable.
Do you try to have different parameters for long and short side to optimize short trades ?

How do you guys act when the algorithm has a big win and you “know” (have a gut feeling) that it will loose momentum and fade. As the DOW/DAX trade in pathfinder yday and the day before. We are now 200ish € down from the top.
How do you act. Do you close the trade manually or have full confidence in the robot?

It’s your decision because it’s your money that is in the line of fire. In my opinion it’s not a shame to take the money out of the market if you feel better especiality at the beginning. Take the win and look forward to the next trade. Now you have a buffer and are more relaxed for the next round.
