@ O-Jay8 – Apologies, my fault, I have the daily swing one live. Am not running the 4h v6 in live. So yours is correct and working as it should, I have just done a backtest and it should have opened a long at 2401.1.
However, I should point out that that code only performs from 2013 onwards but even then with quite a big draw. Over a longer period, the results are not good. I think that is probably why I chose not to run it in live.
03/10/2017 at 9:04 PM #282234H v6 CAC short has just been closed @ 4993.5 with a 29.2 pt loss.
Perhaps it’s a better idea to open a separate thread for just pathfinder trade posts so that people can check positions against each other, leaves this thread free for any discussions.
03/10/2017 at 10:33 PM #28225@manel Yes that’s a great idea!
Alternative would be to have / keep this one thread (only), but to make it easier to follow trades and compare … enter trades in a spreadsheet saved on Dropbox.
@Pfeiler has done similar (a fantastic job!) with the PF Daily Swings … the Dropbox central repository feels so organised and professional … good for the mind in this ‘hectic trading game’! 🙂

03/11/2017 at 12:36 AM #28235@ Grahal – I think thats a very good suggestion. If we could put a spreadsheet together with current live trades of the individual markets with a note as to who has confirmed these then that would be a great tool for everyone to come and check periodically. We can put it on the front page. I’m not sure how to make a spreadsheet editable and available for everyone or if one person needs to take “ownership” of updating it but perhaps someone who is more “techie” in this regard can make a suggestion 🙂
Yes I agree, @Pfeiler has got a very good repository going which is definitely needed given there are lots more markets in the Daily and the versions are also changing every month, it was a great setup by him.
03/11/2017 at 11:42 AM #28259You can do ‘multiple user change’ in excel using a setting … mmm I’ve forgotten what / where it is, but easy to find from google.
It’s probably easier and less problematic if it could be ‘one user change at a time’ as any addition should only take 1 or 2 mins tops?
But can we even upload excel on this site such that after a ‘change and save’ it would replace the previous version? Maybe Dropbox would save Nicolas from even more headaches and sleepless nights ?? 🙂
I guess a trial of both methods – on Page 1 of this Thread and Dropbox – would be the way to go? I wonder if Pfeiler would agree to this Thread using same Dropbox … it is another Reiner Pathfinder?
I’m busy rest of today unfortunately or I’d set one up on my Dropbox, but may be able to do tonight. If anybody else wants to have a go then feel free. We can always ask Pfeiler when we know the concept works?

See if this works, just a trial at this stage to see if it works, can be accessed, data entered and saved etc.
I’m open to suggestions re layout. column headings etc.
Not sure at this stage what happens if two people try to edit / add data at same time, but as new data will be added to a new row (not overwriting previous data) then it may not be an issue?
Let me know if anybody gets any error messages or if slow to open etc etc?

03/11/2017 at 10:21 PM #28298Hi Grahal – Many thanks for looking into this. This is a perfect start to a solution. The link is accessible fine. I don’t think there will be an issue with multiple users entering at the same time anyway as the chances of that happening are remote, as there’s not thousands following this thread and willing to update as well.
I was reading that you can amend accessibility in the settings (see point 2 in below link) so that will allow anyone without a gmail account to edit as well. This then makes it available to anyone to simply click and update.

Once you’ve changed the permissions from view only to edit then we can do trial run and then mess about with layouts etc later.
Cheers – that’s the great thing about this forum, someone (like you) is always likely to come up with a quick workable solution here 🙂
