@ maleknf – Yes, you start a new row with a new trade entry (unless it has already been logged by another user in which case you just confirm) and then at closing you go back to that same row and add in the closing position details (unless it has already been noted by someone else). I have amended your entry and removed it as it was a duplicate, it should all read ok now.
Grahal – I agree, we need to try and keep the log as simple as possible – which is why we don’t have position sizes, fees etc as those are dependent upon individual user’s risk metrics they have used.

@Paris: sorry, i don’t understand. What do you mean?
03/23/2017 at 1:51 PM #29599I have noticed that we have instruments listed in the Trade Log other than the 5 officially released by Reiner on the first page.
I just wonder if everybody feels OK with this, or if we just should follow up “the big five” to be truthful to Reiners baby “Pathfinder 4H”. Another option is to add a column and mark the line if it is part of those or not. Then it is easy to filter out the original instruments.
What do you think?

However I suspect that if it was a Pathfinder system it was probably released by Reiner but perhaps not updated on the first page. If we give everyone the choice to run it, its better to include than not I feel.
O-Jay8 – could you please post the Gold V5 system here. Then one of the moderators can include it in the front page. I’m sure it’s in one of the posts but will make it accessible to everyone if you refresh it here. Many thanks.
Is anyone else running the Gold system as well ?

Though the system does seem profitable in the long run. Looking at the equity curve it seems like it may have been overoptimised as it only performs from 2012 – ie last 5 years even though there was a major bull run in the previous 5. This probably need to be tested again with the new walkforward engine to arrive at more realistic variables and results. Could yet end up being a promising system.
03/23/2017 at 6:24 PM #29672I’ll add another column to the Trade Log … I’ll call it Reiner Origin for now with a Yes or No in the cells.
We can then sum the Yes’s only and see any difference from ‘all 4H Systems’.

03/23/2017 at 7:15 PM #29675Please could anybody / somebody check the comment in cell I2 in the link below and get it to work or do we need another column for summation of just the ‘Yes’s??
