  in 2017, some path strategies don’t have the same results as the previous years : DAX and CAC

  there are more  critical  different   about pathfinder DAX  in the last 6 month

   

  What do you mean ?

  for  the other index, the system work with profit in the last 5/6 month ??

  maybe its time to do some optimization on the dax? the problem is that we have a long uptrend and it could be some downtrend soon..

  (i run a light version on 1 hour and its still profitable on demo)

  SInce jan 2017,

  pathfinder on DAX is terrible … IF you look the period of the Backtest  before  the  operation loss (2013 to 2016) are very very few

  COnsidering that this TS  in the Backtest before   had  80% of Win trade , 7/8 of PFactor   and the equity  line is very Fantastic .

  Actually  the result in real live are  crucial  ..

  I’am not very confident about the Trading system for more long period   but I ‘ll check

  Yes a new difficult trade for path Dax

  but with these up and down in short periodes, it s a bit tricky to expect lot of gains with a swing strat.

  The best way to do is  to stay out as HS strat does

  Pathfinder is a trend following strategy. It cannot behave well under this market condition. It is not the code, it is just the market.

  …..It’s seems also in a wrong Direction of the market ..

  I have   strong opinion but I’am not confident ,  many consecutive  wrong Direction ,  many consecutive loose ,  stop/reverse effected too late…
