Hi all,
@ Reiner,
Tere is a solution suggested by Alizee about “preloadedbars issue”. Can you test it on Pathfinder DAX please?
Here the link: https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/historique-insuffisant-pour-lancer-mon-systeme-preloadbars/#post-4219108/01/2017 at 3:35 PM #4223208/01/2017 at 4:02 PM #42233all V7 versions should now be suiteable for expert and limited risk accounts. As mentioned above the only changes were the adopted trade commands that hoply fix the turning position issue with limited risk accounts. Changes should work with all account types because all robots deliver the same results.
The V7 for the Nikkei is new but to be honest not my favourite this year.
@pfeiler: could you please attach the new versions to the frontpage – Thanks08/01/2017 at 5:10 PM #4224908/02/2017 at 4:17 PM #4233208/02/2017 at 4:54 PM #42342Hi guys,
Pathfinder’s backtests look brilliant but never forget they are all highly optimized and of course they are no money machines. Especially to all new participants please do not forget the disclaimer:
Pathfinder strategies offer a statistical advantage but are of course not a holy grail and there is no guarantee to make money with it. The systems are optimized for historical data and historical gains are not a guarantee to be successful in the future. I strictly recommend to adjust the position sizes to your personal account size and try first in demo mode. The results in life trading will differ from the backtest results. I also recommend to start in life trading with a small account size. Anyone can use the programs for free and at their own risk.
Good trades,
Reiner

I have been playing around with the codes, trying to bring down the maximum DD for us with a small account.
I found a solution that some of you might already be aware of, but i could not find it anywhere in this forum.
All you need to do is multiply saisonalPatternMultiplier by 0.5, like this:1numberContracts = MIN(maxPositionSizePerTrade, positionSize * (saisonalPatternMultiplier*0.5))and decrease maxPositionSize. (for the pictures i used 5 on Dax, 4.5 on Dow and 3.5 on HS)
As it can be seen on the pictures attached, this gives almost half the max DD, while still maintaining more than half the gain (not as great on HS).
Don’t know if I have missed something and this does not work, but in case this works, I think those of us with a small acc. might find this useful.08/06/2017 at 1:09 PM #42539Is there any walk forward analysis available for the pathfinders systems? Or some 200k bars backtest?
Thank you.

What do you reckon should be the min size portfolio for the DAX?
08/06/2017 at 11:02 PM #4259108/07/2017 at 10:55 AM #42656I think 10k was recommended for the original Dax Pathfinder, so mabye 5k.
But I’m new to all this, so i don’t know how well these backtests reflect the future.
I’m most likely starting out with 4k, but if you want to be on the safe side, then 4k probably isn’t enough.08/07/2017 at 2:27 PM #42678 -
